Sigh, this is the only photo I ever managed to get of my baby Billy sleeping. The layout that I used for this sweet little page is from Becky Fleck's Page Maps which is an awesome resource for scrapping and card layouts alike.
I started with a 6x6 piece of Enchante Designer Series Paper and a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock on which I used the French Flair background stamp with Sage Shadow ink. I then layered these together with the photograph. I used the filagree stamp from the Carte Postal stamp set with Chocolate Chip ink across the top left hand corner of the page.
I sponged another piece of Very Vanilla card with Sage Shadow ink and cut it out to fit a small oval window from the Aged Copper Hodge Podge Hardware. The sentiment that I used is from one of my favourite retired sets Happy Harmony. To get the single word from the stamp, I used a Blender Pen dipped in Chocolate Chip ink and inked up the word "Dream" and stamped it on to the oval. I like to use Stampin' Dimensionals with these windows as they push the cardstock up for a snug fit in the frame.
I then finished it off with a piece of Ivory Organdy Ribbon, threaded through the eyelet holes of the window and secured it all in place with Mini Glue Dots. As a final touch, I added a couple of coordinating brads on the lower left corner for balance.
